This is a sewing and embroidery machine.
It features
20 specialty stitch menus with over 700 stitches, including perfectly
balanced buttonholes. It also has Pictogram embroidery (satin elements
that allow you to create original decorative stitches,) and Omnimotion
stitches and scallops that create up to 36.5mm wide decorative stitches.
The Designer 1 has the exclusive sensor presser foot system for flawless
feeding over any type or thickness of fabric. The sewing advisor will
enable you to choose the type and weight of fabric, and your D1 will
instantly choose the best stitch and settings to get the job done.
The embroidery unit includes original floppy disks with designs, Palace
Script, Clarendon, and Kalligraphia. All fonts are in 10mm, 20mm, and 30mm
sizes. The design sampler collection fits the standard hoop size up to the
mega hoop. These hoops are included with the machine. You can combine and
arrange designs and lettering on the color touch screen ad save the
combined design to a floppy disk for future use. Threading is a snap, and
threading the needle is quick and easy with the built in needle threader.
The bed is extra long and has 2 lights for the best view. The machine
